The Central Board of Secondary Education (abbreviated as CBSE) is a Board of Education for public and private schools, under the Union Government of India. CBSE conducts the final examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 every year in the month of March. It also conducts private examinations for class 10 and 12. A private Candidate means a person who is not a Regular Candidate but, under the provisions of bye-laws, is allowed to undertake and/or appear in the All India/Delhi Senior School Certificate Examination or All India/Delhi Secondary School Examination of the Board.
